About Us
In 1987, Doug sold his business. He decided that he, his wife, and two samll children would live in Orlando. He wanted to start a new business and chose Goodyear to build a reputation with. His first store was on the corner of W. Colonial Drive (Rt. 50) and Hiawassee Road. With a small crew and the same principles that made his business in New Jersey a success, Florida Tire also became successful. Those principles are Honesty, Integrity and Pride in the job you do In 1991.... Florida Tire began to expand and opened a second store in downtown Apopka. Since that time Florida Tire has expanded into eight more locations throughout the Central Florida area and continues to grow. This growth could only be possible with the right people that with out, there would be no florida tire good-year Doug attributes his success to his team of professionals who work at the company's various locations. He was able to assemble the finest staff of auto technicians and managers that Central Florida had to offer and they all agree with his work ethic's and principles.
