On November 15, 2008 between 10AM and 2PM, the Grapevine Police Department in partnership with Blagg Tire & Service and Grandmark Mortgage will be at 530 S. Main Street conducting Child Identification, Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspections/Installations and VIN Etching. Child Identification enables parents to maintain a record of their children fingerprints as well as other essential information for emergency purposes.
Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspection/Installation enables parents and caregivers to receive education and hands-on assistance with the proper use of child restraint systems and seat belts.
VIN Etching enables the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to be permanently etched (acid etch) into the major windows of a vehicle. VIN etching is a theft deterrent and may entitle you to an auto insurance premium discount.
Please join in the fun and bring the children so we can help you keep them safe. We will have activity and coloring books for the kiddos, stickers, giveaways and safety literature.
In the event you are unable to attend please contact Officer Tim Gill at 817-410-3209, Officer Jason Keller at 817-914-4392 and Officer Scott Rhodes at 972-724-2126 to schedule an appointment and we would be glad to accommodate you.
